Cleaning Up Tables You won't often want to delete a table, but it's an easy process when you do. Simply select the table in the Database window and press the Delete key, then click Yes when Access wants you to confirm the action. If you want to omit this action, press Shift-Delete, but be very careful when using this shortcut. In fact, always think twice before deleting a table full of data. You might want to archive the data instead of deleting it. However, if you do delete a table and change your mind, you can undo the delete by clicking the Undo button or choosing Undo from the Edit menu. But you must do so immediately after deleting the file--before you take any further action.
