Apple iBook Sleep Fault

A number of users have reported that Apple's iBook refuses to wake up after you put it to sleep. One cause of the errant behavior may be that you've chosen the "Preserve memory contents on sleep" option in the Energy Saver control panel.   Apple suggests that if you've chosen this option and your iBook doesn't wake properly that you restart the iBook (by pressing the Reset switch with a paperclip) and immediately press and hold the Esc key as the iBook restarts. Let go of the key once you see the Happy Mac icon. Pressing Escape forces the iBook to skip the preserved memory file and should allow the iBook to restart as  intended.
