Powerbook Power Warnings

You're using your PowerBook when all of the sudden you get a warning that says you're running on reserve power and your screen will be dimmed. This happens when your battery has utilized approximately 85 percent of its energy. At this point, you have about 20 minutes of use left. Notice we said "about." Play it safe once you see this warning. Save your files and if possible, plug the AC adapter into the computer. If you ignore the warnings and continue working, your PowerBook will display two more warnings. Immediately after the third warning, your Mac will automatically go to sleep or shut down. In most circumstances, the computer will save your current document. However, to restart or wake your computer, you'll either need to replace the battery or plug it into the AC adapter.
