Plotting in AutoCAD 2000 has changed dramatically. Two utilities are available that can make plotting a little easier. The first is acpltstamp.arx, which adds a plot stamp utility to place time, date, path, user comments, etc. on the plotted drawing. Another helpful download is aclyutil.arx. This utility allows the user to save a set of plot settings using pageout, then restore the settings in another drawing using a script file called pagein. This makes for a quick way to import plotter settings for various printers. These utilities are easy to download and install.
