Guides and Grids Preferences Dialog

If you often change the settings in the Guides And Grids Preferences dialog box, you'll appreciate this tip. Instead of going through all the menus every time you want to get to this dialog box, simply double-click on the Ruler tool in the Toolbox to bring it up. This process can be expedited even further if you tear off the palette that contains the Ruler tool--the Ruler tool will then always be visible.
