Using Find/Change in Illustrator to fix text errors

Most people pigeon-hole Illustrator into the category of applications that can set type but aren't good at handling large amounts of text. But the truth is Illustrator has text- handling capabilities that rival those of QuarkXPress, Adobe PageMaker, and InDesign. You can access a variety of text- editing features by choosing Type > Find/Change. In the resulting dialog box, there are a number of options that can make changing text errors much easier. You'll be able to fix plenty of errors in no time.
