Turning Gridlines Off in Excel

The worksheet is a weave of gridlines, outlining the rows, columns and cells.  Most of the time those gridlines are useful. Without them you might not now which cell you were working in.   Well you can turn these off, here is a tip that shows you how:

  • Open Tools + Options.
  • In the Options dialog box, click on the View tab.
  • Find and remove the check from the Gridlines box.

Now the worksheet is displayed without gridlines.
