Print Preview in Excel

After creating your complex worksheet,  you may be ready to print it.   Now make sure you look at the entire spreadsheet before committing it to paper.  Maybe you've got tables strewn in a confusing layout.  There's still time to reorganize.  The best way to check that your spreadsheets are ready to print is to use the Print Preview function:

  • Open File + Print Preview. That'll give you an overview.
  • Open View + Zoom + 25% (or if it is a really huge worksheet, select the area you're going to print and in this command choose Fit Selection).
  • The worksheet will now print onto the width of your page.
