Copy an Access database object without using Copy/Paste
To quickly create a copy of a database object without using Copy/Paste, locate the item you want to copy in the Database window. Next, hold down the [Ctrl] key while you drag the object to a new location in the Database window. When you do, Access creates a duplicate object and prefaces its name with "Copy of". For instance, if you used this technique to drag a form named "Form1", then Access renames the form "Copy of Form1". To manually rename the object after you've copied it, right-click on it in the Database window and select Rename from the resulting shortcut menu.
