Using Wrap To Window in Word

When you work on a document with a very wide text area--or you have Word's style area or Word 97's document map panel open along the left side of the document window--you may find that you can't see the text all the way to the right margin. There simply isn't room within the document window to display the entire width of your text. This can result in a lot of horizontal scrolling. Fortunately, Word offers a solution: the Wrap To Window option. Instead of wrapping text at the right margin, Word wraps text when it runs into the right edge of the document window. (Remember, this is just a display option; the text will still conform to the margins you've set.) To take advantage of this feature, you first need to be in Normal view. Then, choose Options from the Tools menu and click on the View tab. Now just select the Wrap To Window check box and click  OK. The option remains in effect (even from one Word session to the next) until you return to the View tab and deselect the check box.
