Save Your Settings

When you've set Windows up the way you like it-with particular group windows showing, in the right size, and icons lined up neatly-you should save that look.  If you lose the settings you will have to set it up all over again. To save these setting do the following:

1. In the Program Manager, open Options.
2. Choose Save Settings on Exit 
3. Press Alt + F4.
4. In the Exit Windows dialog box, click on OK.

Now you're back in DOS. Type "win" and press Enter and Windows will start again, and should have the setup you saved
