Dual Boot Windows NT and Windows 98

To install Windows NT Workstation 4.0 on your computer, you can divide your new hard disk into two FAT16 partitions (Not FAT32).  Use the first one as your boot partition, and the other for Windows NT Workstation 4.0.  This will leave your original disk free for use in Windows 98.

Install Windows 98 as normal and then install Windows NT Workstation 4.0. Windows NT Workstation 4.0 can't use FAT32 partitions so make sure it is installed on FAT16 only.    Also remember that Windows 98 will not see an NTFS partition (if you decide to use NTFS).

When you reboot after installing Windows NT 4.0 you will see a boot menu, choose which operating system to start and hey presto a dual boot system.
