Enable Numlock at Startup
Change the registry to enable the NumLock key at startup. To do this, you need to change two Registry entries, this can be done with the same file. If you would like to generate this REG file, run Notepad and enter the following exactly as shown. Where you see BLK, press Enter to enter a blank line. Do not type in BLK.
REGEDIT4 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control
Panel\Keyboard]
Now choose File, Save As, and name your file numlock.reg, and click Save. To enable the registry settings double click the file you have just saved and it will enter the settings into the registry, restart and the NumLock will be enabled upon startup. |
